Welcome to "SHOW OFF YOUR COTTAGE MONDAY", a blog party I host at the beginning of each week to celebrate the things we love about our homes and how we live.
1. Please link directly to your post and not just to your blog.
2. Please link back to The House in the Roses
3. Have fun!
Pink seems to be all the rave right now... and I’ve been looking at so many photographs with pink in it lately! Pink furniture, pink picture frames, pink cakes, pink dressers. I knew I had to have a pink chair in my pink room! Have you noticed how much I love chairs? I do! I do! So I got me a pink chair!
In the garden! ;) Yes, she’s been seating in my garden ever since the day I got it and painted it in lime green. Now I can’t decide whether I should take it back to the garden or keep it in my pink room! ;) Which color do you prefer? Do you like her better in pink?... or green?
Oh- I love her painted pink...but liked her green too. I would probably put her back in the garden because it seems her home is there...and the colors surrounding her are so beautiful! Happy Monday, Cielo~ oh...and I love your new header-very fresh and pretty for Spring! xxoo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh my that's a hard decision...love the lime in the garden but I love it pink in your room as well..maybe find another chair and paint it lime and put it back in the garden!! Why not have both! Your garden is lovely!!

Oh so very lovely! I especially adore the tea tray on the chair! Something about it is magical and inviting.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Terri
O, I like it in both colors...the joys of paint !! :))
ReplyDeleteI think that you need two chairs, one for the garden and one for your bedroom...it is just too hard to choose because they both look great.
ReplyDeleteLove your banner Cielo - that doesn't look like you though-
ReplyDeleteLove the chair -I really like that green color in the garden- sure makes for a cute area!
Pink keep it pink......love the pink!

Hi Cielo,
ReplyDeleteThe pink chair looks very lovely in your bedroom. You did a fabulous job! Thank you for hosting.
Blessings ~*~Wendy~*~
I like it pink inside the house. I vote for getting another chair to put outside. I like the green out there, but then again green is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteI love her outside! :)
ReplyDeleteI think if you put the chair back in the garden it will shabby up and show the green through the pink! how pretty that would be...
ReplyDeleteHmmm..
ReplyDeleteLove chairs too - this is a wonderful one - both colors are spectacular - the lime green just popped in the pictures - but, the pink is a wonderful backdrop - keep her pink - keep her in your room, but occasionally take her out for a while in your garden - She'll shine in both places -
Thank you for hosting this lovely party,
Kathy
Love your new header!
ReplyDeleteOh, I cannot decide!! How about two chairs, one in lime green and one in pink!! The lime green looked fabulous in the garden, even when it was shabby. Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteLike your new header too.
Hello Cielo... I love your gorgeous pink chair, it looks so pretty in your pink room... but, I think it would look even more fabulous out in your garden once more... perhaps with a bouquet of your Cosmos I read that your are planting this year... Cosmos are so beautiful, they were my great~grandmothers favorite flower so I plant them all over for her... your blog is so lovely... and today I am joining your party as well... I have signed on below and linked back to you... Merci!... xoxo Julie Marie "Idyllhours"

I have got to get back into doing the Show Off Your Cottage" again. Perhaps next week I will give it a go. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that chair-both ways! But I'm really loving it pink.
I have an old chair that belonged to my Dad. You may have just inspired me to paint it. I'll let you know if I do....
((Hugs))
Laura
It's so beautiful in both places.
ReplyDeleteIt seems happier in the garden and it seems like you miss having her there. Thank you for another visit...it is such a pleasure.
Your chair is so lovely both in pink and green. It looks so different in each color, but definitely very pretty in both.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink. Looks like you can use it inside and out!
ReplyDeleteMary
Love the chair in the Pink. All though it was pretty in the bright green. I think I would give it new life and let it live in the pretty pink room for a while. She may prefer being inside so she doesn't become so shabby. Go with your heart. You can always get another chair for your garden! I love chairs too. . . Have a wonderful day, and thank you for hosting this lovely party. Hugs, Karie
ReplyDeleteI love the chair pink inside, yet it is so pretty green out in the garden! Both are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty chair, very nice lines... and it looks great in either green or pink! I'd keep it in the pink for awhile though, since it looks so pretty. You'll know when it's time for you to change it up again, plus whether to keep it inside or to put it back in your garden! :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria
Love the pink chair! Thanks for hosting ... it's my first time playing at your party. I'm off to mingle ... *Becca* (your newest follower)

I love both the chairs, the pink one goes so well in the bedroom, but the green looks so at home in your beautiful garden. Thanks for hosting such a lovely party.... I just added my link. Drop by and say hello at my place when you get a chance: http://withadashofcolor.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I like them both equally! I suppose the chair will survive longer if it's kept inside, though. You've made both settings very pretty, so it'll be difficult to choose. Thanks for being a great blog party hostess! Bess
ReplyDeleteI have two very similar wooden chairs. One is yellow and one is turquoise. I would have a hard time painting them, although I really like PINK! The yellow chair had a twin and a matching round table. I think that we bought them at an auction years ago. I no longer have the table or one of the chairs. I buy a lot of chairs too!
ReplyDeleteI love her both colors. If you put her back outside, you could give her a coat of water repellent matte. I love the shabby but it is hard on chairs like that... only a few seasons....
ReplyDeleteNow that's a tough choice! I love it both ways. Maybe you should try to find a second one that is similar. I agree with Gayla though about the outdoors being tough on the chair.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley
