Happy Weekend!

Is it snowing over there in your part of the world where you live? It snowed here for days, and now the snow has turned into thick icy foam. The garden looks shabby and fragmented under a thousand stiff white shards and spangles. But I’m not complaining. Snow kills pests, protects plants from the wind and keeps the garden watered until spring. Ah yes, I’m enjoying the enchantment and serenity of winter... but without the chill; from the comfort of my cozy home, of course!
What have you been doing? I’ve been decorating and redecorating, moving things around and having fun trying new ideas to see how things look...

It’s Holiday time... take the opportunity this season to enjoy the weather and share your love with family and friends... Happy weekend, everyone! And... "may you allow the wild beauty of the invisible world to gather you, mind you, and embrace you in belonging (John O'Donahoe).

  2. Dearest Cielo,

Wish we could decorate with 'ample' time for doing more for our loved ones as time yet again is running out on us! FAMILY is more important than all the hectic and forced commercialism, sometimes too much of decorating...
A nice warm setting and soft music is enough to sooth the spirit and find PEACE within the family...
Your yellow roses did that too!

    Love,

  11. As I write, we are getting snow over here, in the NE.

Now that first picture... You have me "all-confuse-a-cat" with that one! I can't figure out, which is what or what's where. ,-)

    But it's still pretty.

    Gentle Winter hugs...

  15. Hello, Cielo!
It's a pleasure to be here, in your little and worderful place...It's an enchanted world!
I'm a romantic brazilian woman and live in a land without very cold winters and snow. In fact, I've seen snow some years ago, when we were on a trip in Canada... I remember that I thought I was living in a Crhistmas tale...The snow was so lovely and magical! I really loved it!
Down here,in Rio de Janeiro, we are almost in summer time and the temperatures are increasing each day...It's very warm today and our children are waiting for playing in our swimming pool! There's a plenty of sunshine outside in our garden...It's a beautiful day!
I'm writing to you this day, just to tell you how I love to visit your tender and wonderful blog... Every time I visit you, my heart smiles with gladness... Thanks for bring us so nice feelings and make our days more lightful!
I have a blog too, it's only in portuguese, but you can visit us just to take a look at the place we live... I'll be enchanted with your visit!

My blog is : " Se essa lua fosse minha" (msgteresa.wordpress.com)

The name of my blog means " If the moon were mine"
There I write about myself and family, nature , flowers, animals and house life... With a small spoon of poetry!
I'm a biologist and love the nature!
I send you my brazilian regards...
