It is a quiet, frosty morning here, and the day is not quite waking up yet. One by one the candles are being lit...
Soft light of lamps thrust shadows away and the softly illuminated house bestows a sense of peace and joyful calmness...
Preparing the table for breakfast is always such a joy on those special mornings...
I love it—winter’s early mornings. I love the silence that pervades the house, the game of lights and shadows on walls and furniture, the smell of wood burning stoves in the crisp air, and if you’d dare open a window or stand still outside for a minute or two and really smell hard, you would smell the very subtle scent of snow. It is magical... the garden glows with golden starlight as daybreak progresses, and I go back inside my cozy house carrying with me enough memories to last days after days...

The tea pots of silver are beautiful, and I see that you have a tea cup turned over for me as well. The sparkle of the little tea candles and the fresh rose draws us to the table to sit awhile and talk. We can dream of magical unicorns, and fairies and watch as the birds in the garden dance their morning rituals for us.
Oh how delightful. I love the ruffled table covering, and the company was superb. Thank you again sweet friend, for allowing me to join you this special time of morning. Always a treasure.
