Do you have a potting shed? Is it useful or is it just another place to trap spiders? I love potting sheds and if I had one, it would be my “house of dreams” and I would decorate it with painted furniture and lots of pretty linen and bountiful bouquets made of flowers collected from the garden… But I don’t have a potting shed, and I don’t see one in our garden plans any soon. But one can always dream, right? Of course we can! And so, I made my own humble potting shed this weekend! It only took a couple of things: a $36.00 thrift store baker’s rack and a can of white paint. The rest came from things I already had. Now I have my “house of dreams” and potting shed in one spot! And I can even enjoy a cup of tea out here too! I love it!
Lovely idea! If I had a potting shed -I'd putter and dream in it - perhaps paint too! Thank you for hosting this fun party!

Hi Cielo! Oh, it looks wonderful! I'd love to have a potting shed! We have no room as our back yard is so tiny.

totally beautiful....your pictures always inspire me and intrigue me....love your blog
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. This makes the perfect potting bench. I've been wanting a potting shed too but a potting bench like your's would work just fine. I was thinking of hitting thrift stores next week looking for anything I could make into one. Love your's.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Your potting area is all that a potting shed should be and more. I don't think I'd have tea in the shed but what you've created is beautiful and practical. How great is that! Can I copy :-)
