It's snowing petals

How do I know it’s spring? The minute I opened our front door this morning, a gasp escaped my throat. It was snowing! Snowing petals—that is! I ran to the grass where a pallid carpet made of cherry blossom confetti had formed and stood under the tree with my palms upwards and head tilted back feeling the brume of petals on my face, inhaling deeply to something like an endless melody of serene tranquility whispering a heavenly scent. That was really sweet of God to give us all these amazing cherry trees! Ah yes, it is divinely spring, and I'm happy to be back home!

I'm so very happy to see you all again!

  7. What a beautiful welcome home to you... I love those pictures. We don't have cherry trees still, though we did when I was a little girl.... but we have beautiful, sweet-smelling locust trees that do the same .... scatter their lovely petals on the ground... Enchanting morning for all of us... what else can we hope for? I can't wait to start the summer (school's out today!).... FRESH summer breezes and flowers everywhere...
