Show Off Your Cottage Monday

Welcome to "SHOW OFF YOUR COTTAGE MONDAY", a blog party I host at the beginning of each week to celebrate the things we love about our homes and how we live.
The House in the Roses
Which is your favorite home and decorating magazine? Which interior design magazines give you the best ideas and most useful tips? You really could spend a fortune buying and trying all the different interior design magazines out there. Fortunately, we have the Internet... I'm getting my inspiration from Cabbages and Roses today!
What are you celebrating today? LINK! And take us to your place! Just don’t forget to link back to The house in the roses! Thank you

  2. Cielo, I agree. Magazines are so expensive, and I tend to buy more in the spring because I like the colors of spring best. I have tried to not spend as much, but I have gotten more inspiration from blogs lately. Thanks for your lovely post today featuring Cabbages and Roses. I love all the pale florals and white. Simply stunning! Thanks, also, for hosting this linky party! :D

  3. What a beautiful post today, Ceilo! Gorgeous rooms and gardens that take my breath away and transport me to a sweet and soothing place. It makes me want to run away from home (okay-just kidding). IF you get a chance pop over and read my "pirate story" with SweetCheeks holding court at Starbucks. It will NOT soothe your soul or quiet your spirit but it might make you smile!

Hope your week will be a good one, sweet lady~ xxoo Diana

  4. Oh, my, everything was so beautiful. I loved the combination of creamy white and color. The kitchen photo with that beautiful, deep porcelain sink...just beautiful. Oh and that gorgeous outdoor tent with the tables underneath. That was just lovely. I could see having a group of friends over for some tea or something else good :) :) Your home is so lovley. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  7. I loved most of these images because, not only are they pretty, but they are LIVEABLE. That's what I like to see. All the fluff and frills sometimes TAKES AWAY from the overall beauty of the room.
    Thanks for sharing...:))

  12. Cielo, Thank you for hosting Show-off Your Cottage Monday. It is so fun to see all the different cottages. I agree magazines are so expensive. I get a lot of my inspiration from blogs. The talent of these amazing bloggers constantly amazes me. But, I also like Country Living magazine. There is just nothing like holding and turning pages of magazine. Thanks again for sharing so much. Karie

  14. If the question is "What inspires me?" ~ then my answer is my family. I try to be tuned into their needs. Styles may come and go, but ultimately it up to each of us to best feather our nests. A perfectly feathered nest to me is one that expresses the personality of each inhabitant. Thank you for such a lovely Monday party!

    Love,
    Susan and Bentley

My favorite magazine is Romantic Country and I only wish that it was a monthly magazine instead of only 4 times a year. I also love Romantic Homes, Veranda and Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, TeaTime, Southern Lady, and House Beautiful. Do you get the idea that I live for magazines!!!??
I love blogs and books too!
