Napkins, kitchen towels and tablecloths…
...if they come in an assortment of prints and textures, the better! They look so lovely sitting stacked all pretty in a pile... Are you this crazy about linen too?
Our winters here are long and bitter, but our days are warm and hearts are full to the brim… and if I look pass my lovely stack of linen, beyond the window, pitter patter goes my heart! Ah yes, daylight is stretching! Daylight is growing longer and wiser each day! The sun's arc begins to grow longer and higher in the sky. Soon, sunlight will reach its peak again. Isn’t this something wonderful to celebrate? And what are you celebrating? Link and tell us all about it!
Cielo, I love linens, too, I love to iron them! I know, I am crazy, but I do. My favorite linen spray right now is Mangiacotti Florals' Ocean. It smells like heaven!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Sweetie!

Cielo- I am a lover of linens too. I have a closet and 2 dressers full of all kinds of yummy things and love to change them often. I even enjoy
ReplyDeleteironing them!
Hope to join your lovely party again soon- not much happening here besides trying to get our house in NM ready to go on the market again. I find myself a little frustrated using the time on cleaning up someone else's mess when I could be doing wonderful things in my home instead. Oh well I mustn't complain.
So enjoy your blog friend and look forward to all the inspiration you will bring us this new year!

So many beatuiful pictures. The best of the best... linen, roses and pearls...
ReplyDeleteI love linen too, and to mangle them is a pure joy. I wished for a mangle some years ago for my birthday, and my husband found an old one in a charity-shop. Small, electric and on legs. Perfect. I love it.

Gorgeous linens. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHello Cielo, I too love linens - they are the dressing to rooms and tables - the accessories. I think they set the mood-yours are quite lovely and I think speak of the things that you love - flowers, light and joy!
ReplyDeleteI just wish I had somewhere to display mine to see their beauty -
Thank you for hosting!
Hope you have a sparkling-sunshiny day!

Cielo- Oh I love linens too. I have inherited several from grandmothers (on both sides) and I love the feeling of the very old ones. I have one pillowcase with an embroidered monogram that belonged to my husbands great-great grandmother. It is a wonderful old piece.
ReplyDeleteThank you for always making me feel "at home" when I visit you here- xxoo Diana
I had to come back to add- I just read the first comment and I love to iron linens too. I am using MaryEllen's Linen spray and it is magical! xxoo Diana

ReplyDeleteI'm with you! I find few things as cheerful as pretty linens. I always have some stacked around too. Yours are very Rachel Ashwell. Thanks, Cielo!
ReplyDeleteI was just playing with linens today....how neat to see your post afterwards. I was layering my dining room table with linens and redoing my dining room curtains. I got the book "The Paris Apartment" from the library for the umpteenth time and got inspired to decorate...layering, layering...
