Welcome to "SHOW OFF YOUR COTTAGE MONDAY", a blog party I host at the beginning of each week to celebrate the things we love about our homes and how we live.
From a lovely pastel colored little dress, wearing a flower-print pattern, to heaps of pillows scattered around, florals give interiors a fresh, pretty look. Piles of fabrics, like piles of books, make a fabulous feature. Floral patterns can be used in any room where you'd like that softer feel. I love flower-print fabrics, and love to pile them up. Piles of soft pastel flowery fabrics give a romantic feel that I just love. They also are an easy way to bring color and pattern into your home, and still keep the look soft, feminine and tasteful! Decorating with florals is the spark of the romantic heart. These things speak to our senses and our dreams.
Florals epitomize the eternal summer garden and comfort, luxury, and voluptuous surroundings, and I just love to come to this sanctuary where I can retreat after a hectic public day to a private haven...
What are you celebrating today? I'd love to hear it! Join the celebration by linking up:

ReplyDeleteHi Cielo! What a lovely post. That dress in the first picture is beautiful...and so are your pillows. I recognize the dishes with the roses. I believe they are the Pfalzgraf ones? I had a double set and gave them to a young couple that was getting married. She didn't have anything and you would have thought I gifted her the moon. I still love them...but am glad she has them.
ReplyDeleteLovely Cottage today- Hugs- Diana
