Snow...

Outside is cold and gloomy. Early this morning, curls of ghost-like fog unfurled and traveled the garden floor breathing in the austerity of winter... clouds dressed in dark gray covered the sky; then, tiny flurries buzzed the yard...

The larger flakes appeared and started to stick until finally a full-blown snow squall enveloped my world... I sat on the sofa and watched from the window wishing I had a cat to cuddle up with and share the enchantment of the moment.

It was like being in a snow-globe.

So magical...

  5. We are supposed to get that "magic" tomorow afternoon and possibly some snow showers/flurries through to the weekend. The weather changes so quickly here though that it could be 55 and sunny instead!

  6. Cielo, we echo your weather in Missouri. Today dawned blue and cold, snow and icy gales. I used a precious day off to recuperate and dream. When I feel happy or wistful, either one--- the house in the Roses is my destination! I enjoy your friendship and feel I often visit your pretty garden for a cup of tea and a magical jump start... We who keep the magic after we grow up... We have to bond together now and then. Thank you for sharing yours. Hugs from Missouri.

I love it when you wake up in the morning and you just know it snowed during the night because it is so quiet.
