Everlasting moments...

Time—I want to be able to capture time in the palm of my hand; create everlasting moments with it; moments that would never die, that would remain forever alive, like jewels in the sky.
Today, while downloading the photographs I took in Florida, I came upon those you see here—with mom and dad and my dear husband in the little enclosed garden swathed in bougainvilleas, drying clothes on mom’s good old fashioned clothes line in partnership with the sun. My heart ached with love as I relived those memories... precious moments I'm keeping forever alive in my heart as a way of holding onto the things I love, the things I am, the things I never want to lose.

  3. Those are truly the most magic memories! Every time I visit my 93 year old grandmother I remember all the different flowers she had and tended. She still gets out there to garden too!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. ¡Hola Cielo!
