Red and White: New Year's thoughts

"Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" Isaiah 1:18

May the New Year be a new beginning

And may our hearts be renewed too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS, FROM THE HOUSE IN THE ROSES

  2. Dear Cielo, This is such a beautiful picture and perfect with this verse which is so amazing to me. Just last week I was talking with my youngest daughter (she's 18) about the wonder of this verse. That Almighty God, maker of heaven and earth, would say to sinners, come, let's talk about this problem of sin, let us reason together... How precious is the gift of forgiveness!

Thank you for this lovely post just as we are looking forward to a bright New Year!

  3. I always love stopping by your beautiful site.
Just wanted to wish you a very Happy New Year.
Yes the roses are still blooming here in parts of Texas. Mine were last week but the now after the winter storm that blew through here they are once again bare.
Yellow is my favorite rose of all.

  4. Hello Sweetie...
I love this beautiful post, the virgin white snow and the berries the blood Christ shed for each of us. I just love it. I thank you for sharing with me tonight.

The weather here today was over cast, but we didn't get any rain. Most people were cold today but I thought it felt great. No coat needed or anything, just a light sweater worked fine.

When you can, stop by and read my post Ceilo, I think you will find it interesting. Who knows you might even find a little piece of you in there.

Country hugs sweetie and so much love...Sherry

the berries represent Christ's blood, the holly the crown of thorns He wore upon His head.
