Spring Fever in the Garden

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain

Awake, thou wintry earth -

Fling off thy sadness! Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth your ancient gladness! ~Thomas Blackburn, "An Easter Hymn" From now on, here is where I'm living...

Come, enter the garden and rest, and may the sweet serenity of growing things, and the heavenly peace, be mirrored in the soul.
Happy weekend, everyone!

  3. Lovely!
I must share this with you...I was driving to another town today. There was a very heavy fog. I felt like I was driving in the clouds, but I wasn't nervous at all about it. Suddenly an otter crossed the highway in front of my car! I have NEVER seen an otter other than in a zoo, but I do know that we have otters in Illinois. It was a wonderful experience for me. Then, to top it all off, a V of geese suddenly appeared right above my car...they were very low...I would never have been able to see them through the fog, if they would have been high in the sky. It was surreal....like a dream....
Spring is finally in the air (even if it is foggy...sort of like London...I can pretend) I'm excited!
    hugs to you
