Happy Father's Day!

Fathers, in most families, are our special unsung heroes...

They rarely ever get their fair share of adulation...

So today let Father's Day be your way to spread the message of love...

The house in the roses is making it extra special by adding a great chair in the garden… just for all of you fathers out there... whoever you are!

Come, enter here and rest, and may the sweet serenity of growing things, and the heavenly peace, be mirrored in the soul. Happy Father's Day, everyone! And this bouquet is for you, dad.

When a child, my dreams rode on your wishes,

I was your daughter,

high on your shoulders,

my mind flew a top the clouds guided by your wings...

I’m happy you’re my dad.

I love you!

What a beautiful post, Cielo. We are blessed to have such wonderful husbands and wonderful fathers, and father in laws. My father-in-law is such a special person even though he has Alzheimer's now. It's a little sad to see his memory deteriorate but we try to make him laugh and be happy. :)
Blessings,
Sandra

You are so right about our Dad being our hero! If you are still blessed with him here... Run to him & hug him with all your might! If only I could have one more day.... How many times would I tell him how much I love him!!!! We never tell them enough. And when they are gone there is indeed a hole in your heart!

Such a pretty post. I love the red and purple flowers together. I had a nice and special time with my daddy last night. This was a hard Father's Day for him since my step-brother passed away a couple of weeks ago. Being together really meant a lot to him and to me also.
